Your brand visuals should be more than just ‘pretty pictures.’

A photoshoot isn’t just a creative day on set. It’s a strategic investment in your brand’s visibility, voice, and story. But too often, the process gets rushed or fragmented: the planning feels overwhelming, the shoot leans more aesthetic than aligned, and the final images sit unused because you’re not sure how to make the most of them.

That’s where your pre-shoot story planning and post-shoot strategy sessions come in.

Whether you're prepping for your next brand shoot or just received your gallery back, these one-on-one appointments ensure your photos actually work for your brand. You'll stay grounded in your message, communicate clearly with your creative team, and walk away with assets you not only love, but know exactly how and where to use.

Pre-shoot planning

You’re prepping for a brand shoot, and suddenly everyone has an opinion…your photographer wants moody, your stylist leans edgy, and your makeup artist wants glam. It’s easy to lose yourself in everyone else’s vision.

This one-hour session helps you get grounded in your story before the cameras roll. Together, we’ll use my simple storytelling framework (characters, setting, plot, props, and breadcrumbs) to map out the visuals that reflect your real message, not just a performance for the camera.

What You’ll Walk Away With:

  • A 5-page workbook that captures your brand shoot “narrative”, along with a ‘must-have’ shot list

  • Clear talking points for your shoot team (photographer, stylist, MUA)

  • A confident vision rooted in authenticity, not performance

  • Creative direction that reflects who you are, and what your brand stands for

Book This If You’re a: speaker, coach, founder, author, or expert preparing for a high-stakes photo or video shoot.

Post-shoot strategy

You’ve got a folder full of beautiful images and A/B-roll...and no real plan for what to do with them. What goes where? Which photo is best for your About page vs. your keynote pitch? How do you stretch this investment over months of content?

This one-hour session helps you make sense of your new visual assets and put them to strategic use. We’ll organize your images, map them to key brand stories, and plan how to roll them out with purpose (instead of posting everything at once).

What You’ll Walk Away With:

  • Categorized, easy-to-reference photo strategy guide

  • Clarity on which images work best for key platforms (web, press, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Ideas for slow-drip storytelling using “breadcrumbs”

  • Confidence to use your photos…without overusing them

 FAQs

  • Nope! Whether your shoot is in two weeks or two months, this session helps you get clear on what matters before you get swept into logistics. It’s never too early to start planning a shoot that feels like you. (Although, I highly recommend booking this session as far in advance as possible, to make all of your other shoot-related meetings go that much smoother!)

  • Absolutely. The post-shoot session is designed to help you get the most value from the images or video footage you've received, whether they were taken yesterday or last season. This is also a great option for reviewing your current visual library and making a plan for your existing images and footage to create more impact.

  • Yes, and I encourage it. Booking both gives you continuity from vision to execution. Plus, you’ll receive a $100 discount on the post-shoot session if you’ve booked the pre-shoot one. (Code: PHOTOBUNDLE)

  • Not at all. This session is for you to help you clarify your brand’s needs and narrative before you share them with your team. It helps you advocate for yourself and communicate your vision more clearly with stylists, photographers, or directors.

  • These sessions are fully remote and strategy-focused. If you’re looking for custom creative direction beyond the session, that can be discussed as a add-on (it would encompass travel, lodging, and on-site/per-day fees).

  • That’s exactly why this exists. You don’t have to show up with a vision, just a desire to feel more like yourself on camera. I’ll help you uncover what feels aligned, and why.

  • Yes! These sessions are a great complement to your creative process. If you'd rather focus on capturing beautiful, aligned visuals (and skip the planning and brand strategy side), I’m happy to support your clients in preparing for their shoot, or making the most of their assets after.
